ReCollect Now ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how ReCollect Now handles your information. Your data belongs to you. While we offer secure cloud synchronization for subscribers to keep their data in sync across devices, your data is never used, shared, or sold by us. Only you control your data.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
ReCollect Now is designed to be your private digital memory. We do not use your personal information or content for advertising, and we never sell your data to third parties. We do not have access to use your:
- Links, notes, or content you save
- Search queries or how you use the app
- Personal or account information
Your records are your own, and we facilitate providing the features you use to manage them.
Where Your Data Is Stored
ReCollect Now offers two ways your data is handled:
- Local Storage: By default, your data is stored locally on your device.
- Cloud Sync: For users who opt-in to Cloud Sync, your data is securely stored in Google Cloud. This allows you to access your saved links and notes across all your devices.
Regardless of where it is stored, your data remains private. We do not receive, process, or sell your personal content.
Links and Previews
When you save a link, the app may request the linked page from the internet to show a preview (title, description, thumbnail). This happens to provide you with a visual reference. We do not receive that information. Playback of videos (e.g. on YouTube) happens on the linked service; we do not download or store the actual video content.
Optional Features
If the app offers optional features that send data (e.g. optional crash reports or anonymous usage statistics), they will be clearly labeled and you can turn them off. By default, we prioritize your privacy.
Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can export it, delete it, or uninstall the app at any time. Because your data is yours, we do not monitor or control what you save.
Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed at children under 13. We do not collect any data from anyone, including children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If we ever make significant changes to how data is handled, we will notify you clearly.
